Cameroon’s Minister of Secondary Education Ernest Bibehe surprised the second batch of AIMS Cameroon Teacher Training Program (TTP) trainees from the Anglophone sub-educational system with a visit on Jan. 23. The second cohort is comprised of 39 men and 11 women teachers training to be better math school teachers.

The minister saw novel techniques to increase interest and student affinity for mathematics in their classes. The AIMS TTP program will train approximately 4,000 teachers to better prepare young people by raising quality and comprehension of mathematical concepts.
